About PURE

What is PURE?

PURE is an open gaming community that provides friendly, socially rewarding gaming experiences to the gaming public.  We’re PC-focused, but our members play many different games together.  We operate our own gaming servers, TeamSpeak servers and subreddit.

It’s hard to have a good social experience gaming online. On most public servers, few players use voice chat, and text chat only goes so far. Trolls and jerks are everywhere. PURE offers an antidote! You’ll find our community active and friendly. Our team of volunteer admins actively keeps the jerks, trolls, and cheaters out.

Best of all, PURE is open to everyone — there are no applications, prerequisites, or approval processes. You’re a member of the PURE community from the moment you start playing with us. You can join our servers here.

What makes PURE different?

Friendly, active voice chat

Our TeamSpeak server is always packed with friendly gamers looking for others to play with.  In some games, we offer special voice chat integration — our Battlefield servers, for example, automatically group in-game squads into private TeamSpeak channels to facilitate teamwork.

Fair, active admins

We maintain a large team of active, responsible, and fair admins that quickly take care of cheaters and jerks.

First-class gaming servers

We design our servers for you to have an excellent experience.  Rather than cater to admins’ personal tastes, we take extensive feedback from our community, and tend to favor default settings (“as the designers intended”). We carefully tune our servers with settings and plugins that promote balance and fair play, and avoid common annoyances like excessive chat spam.

We’re not just a set of servers, but a community that extends beyond the game.  Playing games is more fun with friends than with strangers.

PURE is an open community, not an exclusive club. We are run by the community, for the community, and all are welcome.

Welcome to PURE.

We’re glad you’re here.  Click here to join our servers, or stop by our Reddit forum to say hi!
